Helm Chart version: 2.0.7
New features
Custom Interfaces: build labeling and evaluation interfaces without XML
Complex labeling and evaluation projects often need layouts that the XML config can’t express. Custom Interfaces lets you build those interfaces by describing the layout, controls, and outputs you want in plain language, with no XML to write. You can design for data modalities and interactions that go beyond the built-in tag library, then preview a design locally before you roll it out to your team.
For more information, see Interfaces.

Availability
Custom Interfaces ships behind a feature flag in 2.35. Contact your HumanSignal account team to turn it on for your workspace.
Organization: manage API-only service accounts
Give scripts and integrations their own credentials instead of routing them through a user’s login. Service accounts get programmatic access to the Label Studio API, and can be scoped to an organization, workspace, or project level. Service accounts cannot sign in or interact with the platform through the UI.
For more information, see Service accounts.
Feature updates
Video labeling: autotrack VideoVector regions with SAM2
Tracking a moving object across a long video by hand is slow. You can now draw a VideoVector region on a single frame and let the SAM2 integration autotrack it across the remaining frames, so you annotate the motion once instead of frame by frame.
For more information, see the VideoVector tag.

Review and Data Manager: bulk actions and agreement-based sampling
Move through large review queues faster and point reviewer attention at the tasks where annotators disagree.
- Sample the review queue by inter-annotator agreement, so low-agreement tasks reach a reviewer first.
- Accept or reject annotations in bulk from the Data Manager, with searchable dropdowns for choosing annotators.
For more information, see Review settings and Use the Data Manager.
Analytics: project Members moved under Dashboard
The project Members page now lives under Dashboard, so per-project member management sits with the rest of a project’s analytics instead of in a separate location.
For more information, see the Members dashboard.
Platform and reliability
We continued hardening the platform behind the scenes: dependency security updates, bug fixes, and reliability improvements.
Security
SAML SSO now requires a signed assertion (Breaking Change)
Label Studio Enterprise now rejects SAML login responses that carry no valid signature on either the response or the assertion, closing a potential authentication-bypass vector. Identity providers that sign SAML by default (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, OneLogin, Ping, ADFS) are unaffected.
Temporary opt-out (not recommended)
Set SAML_WANT_ASSERTIONS_OR_RESPONSE_SIGNED=0 to restore the prior behavior while you reconfigure your IdP.
